01 · Overview

What a DAS actually does.

JB Technologies is a Nextivity-certified DAS integrator serving commercial property owners, developers, and facility managers across the Southeast United States. We design, install, and commission both passive and active distributed antenna systems — from CEL-FI QUATRA single-carrier deployments in mid-sized offices to multi-carrier hybrid head-ends in hospitals, stadiums, and logistics campuses. Every project starts with an RF site survey and a written design package that accounts for building materials, donor-signal availability, and the specific carrier mix the tenants need. Commercial DAS is offered nationwide; the city pages below focus on the metros where we have dedicated field crews.

Donor antenna

Roof-mounted antenna captures the local cellular signal (700 / 850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz across the major US carriers) from the nearest macro tower.

Head-end / amplifier

Passive DAS uses a bi-directional amplifier; active DAS uses a head-end that converts RF to digital for fiber distribution. CEL-FI QUATRA fits between the two.

Indoor antenna grid

A designed network of indoor antennas distributes the amplified signal to every floor, basement, conference room, and parking level that needs coverage.

02 · Verticals & Cities

Pick your vertical and metro.

Building owners and GCs care about different things depending on use type. These hubs walk through JBT's DAS deployment pattern for each vertical, with city-specific pages for the metros where we have field crews.

New Construction

Roughed-in fiber and coax during shell construction is the cheapest DAS you will ever buy. Passive or active topology selected before drywall.

Healthcare Facilities

Nurse-call workflows, clinical BYOD, and patient-experience all depend on in-building cellular. Dense interior cores demand engineered coverage.

High-Rise Buildings

Hardened concrete cores, impact-rated glazing, and multi-floor coverage. Active DAS or hybrid topologies are typical above 250,000 sq ft.

Warehouses & Industrial

Metal-clad envelopes and dock-door geometry block macro signal. DAS is the only reliable answer for picker tablets, scanners, and visitor coverage.

03 · Regional Context

Southeast US building stock, nationwide coverage.

The Southeast spans dramatically different RF environments: dense urban cores in Atlanta and Miami where carrier macro coverage is strong outdoors but blocked by impact glass and concrete, mid-density markets like Charleston and Birmingham where donor signal varies block-to-block, and coastal markets where salt-air corrosion and hurricane wind loading drive equipment-housing choices. Carrier coverage gaps are most common in below-grade parking, hospital interior cores, warehouse interiors with metal cladding, and post-2010 office towers with low-E or impact-rated glazing. JBT's regional crews work across Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and the Carolinas with parts depots in Kennesaw and a Brentwood TN office; DAS service itself is offered nationwide for multi-site customers.

The DAS practice itself is nationwide for multi-site customers; the city pages above are the metros where JBT runs dedicated field crews and carries local AHJ familiarity.

04 · Services Hub

What a JBT DAS engagement looks like.

Every DAS project — passive or active, single-carrier or multi-carrier — runs through the same five-phase delivery: measurement-driven RF survey, design package (iBwave or equivalent), permitting and carrier coordination, installation and commissioning, then a documented as-built handover and optional warranty service.
